Terms of Use

1. The Early Access build

HomeInvent is currently distributed as a free Early Access build. It is a working preview: some features described on this website are not implemented yet, and the build is clearly labelled as Early Access when you open it. The full version is delivered as an automatic update to the same installation.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on computers you own or control. You may not resell, rent, decompile, or redistribute the software. When the full version is released it is sold as a one-time purchase of $49 with a lifetime license for that major version; Early Access users receive it under the terms published at that time.

3. Refunds

Paid licenses are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Write to support@homeinventorypc.com within 30 days of purchase and we refund in full, no questions asked. The Early Access build is free and nothing is charged for it.

4. No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data you enter. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software.

5. What we do not promise

We are not an insurance company, a bank, a law firm, or a tax advisor, and nothing produced by the software is legal, financial, or insurance advice. Acceptance of any document produced by the software by a third party such as an insurer or a bank is at that party's discretion.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page with its update date. Continued use of the software after a change constitutes acceptance.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
